I have had an amazing experience as Liaison with Chief for a Day over the last 8 years.
Having been a part of it from informing the schools, to the essay writing, to organizing the competition day, to becoming part of the "winner's" family for several weeks has been extremely rewarding.
I had the pleasure of being involved in the Chief for a Day program for three years. I can honestly say it was one of the most positive experiences as a Police Officer I have had. I had the privilege of working with great members from the community that put this whole event together, the committee members are a group of dedicated professionals who work many hours pulling the whole event together.
